Product details All in one cloth sanitary pads with an organic cotton velour top layer, microfibre terry core and PUL backing. Available in the same PUL designs as Blueberry/Swaddlebees nappies; six plain colours and six prints.
Absorbency – 8/10 These are nicely absorbent. The core is microfibre so it’s not the most absorbent fabric out there but it does absorb liquid fast. The size of the large pads means that there is a good area to meet your needs.
Reliability – 9/10 These have been very reliable for me. I love the length of the pads and feel confident using them overnight. I like that wings aren’t quite in the centre so you can have the slightly longer part to the front or the back depending on how you sleep.
Fit – 10/10 These are a great size and shape, and are nowhere near as bulky as many of the pads I have tried overnight. I am actually confident to wear them during the day too, which is great. I like that the large pads are fairly long compared to many others I’ve tried, at 13 inches. This means that the pad can follow the contours of your body easily and doesn’t end up sticking out the back of your knickers at an angle like a piece of cardboard! They are slim too. This combines with the shape for a very discreet fit for both days and nights.
Fluff care – 9/10 These are really easy to care for. You can either rinse them after use and store in a wetbag or watertight container, or soak them in cold water. Then just throw them in the wash with a little detergent (not too much, the same as you would use for nappies). If you use cloth nappies, put them in the same wash load. They air dry quickly because they’re microfibre on the inside.
Value and quality – 10/10 I think the price is excellent – £17.49 for three works out at around £6 each. This compares very favourably with other cloth pads. The quality is lovely – the fabrics feel nice, the stitching is great and the poppers are really strong. They wash very well and I expect them to last a long time. I really like the soft and squishy top layer of cotton velour; it feels very luxurious – it’s nice to treat yourself during your period!
Ease of use – 10/10 Fasten them round your knickers with the popper and off you go! They are super easy to use. After use, you can either rinse them or soak them. If you’re out and about, fold the pad up on itself and fasten with the popper and take it home to rinse later.
Style – 8/10 There are some lovely prints and colours for these. I really had difficulty choosing which ones to go for as I loved them all. The print/colour is only on the PUL side (underneath) the pad so the top layer next to your skin is plain.
Night-time performance – 7/10 I really like these for overnights as the shape is perfect for me and I love that they’re not as bulky as many other pads I’ve tried. They aren’t the most absorbent pads available but they’re decent so I think would work well for most women overnight.
Overall rating – 89% These are my overnight favourites! They’re comfortable, pretty and easy to use – what more could you want? Oh yes, they’re also discreet, easy to wash and dry quickly so you can use each pad a few times in a week if you wash often enough. Great!
I'm extremely disappointed by the experience i went thru today with the Genius Aulad Kota Damansara transport service provider. I have the impression that they are the best all this while & boy i was wrong. I was shocked that the complaint of level of service they've provided me, I'm being dismissed as disrespectful & was told that the are much happier for not having me as a customer. MasyaAllah. Makes me wonder who is the customer here. No word of apology from them & they actually threatened my daughters nursery teacher. Oh dear, what have i got myself into.
Thankfully, GA Center Manager apologize of what had happened. I'd like her to be aware of what kind of service that Encik Roslan has given me when he is under stress.
Let's see what i went thru today, shall we?
