How are they waterproof?
They are lined with waterproof, non-toxic, PVC free, and vinyl free PolyUrethane Laminate (PUL). This is a long lasting material originally made for the medical industry that is made for high heat and thousands of washings.
How do they adjust for the rise?
The proprietary design in our envibum cloth diapers automatically adjusts proportionately to your baby’s waist, rise, and legs. Soft durable long lasting elastic has a flexible give as your child grows.
Does envibum sell their diapers in stores?
We are working to sell our diapers in stores. Currently, we are an online store only. We will update the site and blog when we have our new list of diaper sites and resellers.
Why are they more expensive then some diapers?
envibum’s plush Minkee diapers are made from high quality long lasting materials. The hidden layer of PUL is protected from heat elements in the dryer while making them stylish and super soft! Our 100% unbleached cotton with absorbency channels is unique to envibum and resist stain, stink, and buildup unlike “cheaper”
diapers lined with fleece or microfiber(s). High quality name brand Velcro ensures tabs stay secured on your baby. Also, with other brands you may have to buy sizes or replace them after falling apart, stink, stain, or buildup - costing you more in the long run. envibum diapers are a one time purchase - they stand the test of time. Additionally, it does cost more to employ in the USA. Being made in the USA is a commitment we believe is important to support growth here in the US, to ensure our product is never oppressing workers with little pay and unfair treatment that is a common standard in other countries. We are committed to high quality threads, materials, and fabrication. We buy made in the USA whenever possible.
Does envibum diapers ever have sales?
Yes, we always have a discount on our packages. We also will run specials on $3.99 SHIPPING and discount codes from time to time. Our blog is also a great place to keep up on specials and contests.
Will envibum always be green?
envibum is a strong believer in being environmentally friendly as well as always be a giving company. We want to help all our families grow by providing them with healthy products to choose from. This is best represented in our signature "envigreen" color. Our diapers are gender neutral and can be used by all your children now and later. We will have “special edition” diapers benefiting organizations and represent their color in our diapers. We are always looking for new ways to give so keep checking back with us on ways you can help and get a fun color diapers too!
Do you resale used diapers?
Unlike some companies that do, we feel this is a potential health risk to our employees and to all our envibum families. Bringing in used diapers into our “clean room” could contaminate our new diapers. Even if this is unlikely we do feel we do not have the right to make this decision for all our parents who trust us to provide a safe product for their baby. There is just no way to guarantee the safety of a resale diaper, sorry.
How much money will I save by switching to envibum cloth diapers?
Think about it and do the math. If you are spending $50 dollars a month in disposable diapers (and that's a conservative amount), times that by 24 months (2 years worth) that means you are spending $1200 per child from birth to potty. Stop throwing your money away now and start saving. If you bought 2 dozen of our envibum cloth diapers you just put $800 back into your bank account!
How many envibums does a baby need?
We suggest at least a 12 pack of envibums, as a newborn can use 9 - 12 diapers a day and a baby less than one year can average 7 - 8 a day. That way your baby's bum is sure to be comfy and dry the whole day with most likely a little room to spare. Plus you may want some additional pads on hand, which are great for extra absorbency at night time or to extend the use of the diaper.
Do I need to worry about washing and the color of my diaper?
No. The color fabric of each and every envibum cloth diaper does not "bleed" or cause any discolorization to your diapers. You can wash our diapers with confidence knowing our fabrics have been tested and will not cause any harm to other diapers or any other laundry for that matter.
When washing your diapers, you can wash it even if they are a little soiled. Pre-washing is not necessary as our diapers were designed with ease of use. You can throw all your diapers together and know that with a standard wash and rinse cycle is all you need to do. No additional prewash or sanitizing wash before or after. We don't want to do any extra laundry than we have to, and we certainly don't want our customers to either!
