Reviews on Fuzzi Bunz

Fuzzi Bunz Diapers - Kept the rash away from our son's Bunz! Written: Apr 13 '03 (Updated Apr 14 '03) Product Rating: Pros: reusable, soft, you control absorbency Cons: Expensive to start out, diaper pail smells The Bottom Line: A little expensive to start, but a real bottom saver! LisaDo's Full Review: Fuzzi Bunz Diapers I never in a million years thought that I would use cloth diapers. I remember when my brother and sister were born that my mom used cloth diapers because it was so expensive to use disposables. I refused to help change them because of the diaper pins. I was sure I would either stick myself or one of the babies. When Zack started getting a rash that was out of control, due to frequent blow outs of his diapers, we weren't sure what we should do. I mentioned the problem to a few other mommies and they mentioned trying AIO cloth diapers.

EARTH HOUR SATURDAY 27th MAR 2010 8.30pm - 9.30pm

EARTH HOUR SATURDAY 27th MAR 2010 8.30pm - 9.30pm Don't forget to switch off the lights. ;-)

Have you watched Alice in Wonderland?

Alice In Wonderland Rating(out of 5): * * ½ Starring: Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helene Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, with the voices of Matt Lucas, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen, Alan Rickman, Christopher Lee This isn't Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Nor is it the sequel, Through the Looking Glass. Instead, it's kind of a weird mash-up of concepts from both (down to the deck-of-cards and chessboard motifs) that sets itself up as something of a sequel to the original.

Seven things you should repair instead of replace

It shouldn't surprise you that fixing things rather than buying new can save money, as well as give you a sense of pride in your own skills and the satisfaction of keeping useful stuff out of the trash. In many cases, simply sewing on a missing button, touching up a nicked paint job, or gluing on a broken corner can get your possessions back up to snuff with only minimal effort and very low expenditure. The trouble is, these days, many of us fail to try even the easiest small repairs, instead opting to buy new at the smallest sign of trouble because it seems faster or more cost-effective.

Antsy Pants Review

Sentuhan Bayu: OK, I forgot to give a proper review on Antsy Pants myself (blush). Here's what I like about antsy. 1) It's a pull up pants!!! How cool is that for a start ? (grin) 2) It almost solved my super heavy wetter night time diapering. I said almost because I need to make sure to change my Ameera at 11pm & I can dozed off till morning. But unfortunately, I 'accidently' dozed off at 9 ish. hehehehe. But you know what, even so the leak is very very minimal. Which I'm quite impress. My guess is if Ameera is less active during sleeping, I'm very positive that it won't leak at all. Yup!!! 2 thumbs up for Antsy. ;-) 3) The liner..... yes it is very different than what you usually get with pocket diaper. And yes, dry too. 4) The absorbant, same as above. & when you put an insert for the nighttime... ooohhh it can last till morning. 5) The color is super bright. Easy to find it in the dark. What I don't like: 1) Its a sized diaper. So I

Review on Antsy Pants - The Pull Up Cloth Diaper from Diaper Pin

Sentuhan Bayu: Here are the reviews by mommies on Antsy Pants. Ratings Comments GrayMama Overall: 5 Price: $24 Condition: New Purchased in 8/2009. Used this item for 6 months. Date Posted: 3/3/2010 I received the next size up (4T) in the new updated version and my night time leaking problems are solved! My son is a heavy wetter and we have had no leaking with the new version, his pj's are completely dry in the morning. The lining has a feel wet area the same as the original version but any wicking or leaking issues have been resolved. The inner lining is also thicker and we don't always have to stuff the pocket for daytime use either. The lining is so soft and comfy against his skin. I was pleased with the absorbancy for daytime use before but now the absorbancy is even better than the original version! I love the improve

Living Large! Celebrating With The Biggest Loser Asia’s Martha Lai

Wednesday March 17, 2010 By Geraldine Jeremiah All that anyone can talk, tweet and blog about last week were the results of The Biggest Loser Asia and how ill and emaciated winner David Gurani (from Indonesia) looked during the season finale. And while we may all STILL have our opinions on that, let's not detract from the three remaining finalists (and contestants) who shone trough at their finest hour as they celebrated the process that transformed their lives forever.

2014 date to switch off traditional light bulb

By DHARMENDER SINGH and CHAN LI LEEN PUTRAJAYA: The traditional light bulb will no longer be available by January 2014. The Government will stop all production, import and sales of the bulbs by that date as part of efforts to save power. Traditional light bulbs, also called incandescent light bulbs, are considered less energy-efficient and, as a result, not as environmentally-friendly as compact fluorescent lamps, fluorescent tubes and light-emitting diodes.

Antsy Pants - The pull up cloth diaper.

Sentuhan Bayu: I love the idea & I must say that I'm happy with the pants too. I got mine directly from Antsy in the US. Took about two weeks to arrive. The price is quite a bomb but it function really well. Read more here

The convenient of disposable diaper

Sentuhan Bayu: Read this study. I agreed that the children nowadays take longer time to be toilet trained. Thanks to the convenient of disposable diapers.

Start school at 6 vs 4 years old

Posted by: Brigitte Rozario  Post(s) by this blogger Should your children start going to kindergarten at the age of six or four? When we were children, most of us started going to kindergarten only at six, one year before entering primary school. These days, however, children have been known to start at age four or even three. What age is too young, and should children start school so early? Should we be worried about the consequences of them starting so early?

Reviews on BumGenius Flip Diapering System

Great for low budget! ,  March 8, 2010 By  Heather Gillstrap  "RealMom"  (Hartselle, AL) -  See all my reviews     The Flip diapers have snaps instead of Velcro, which comes in handy when washing (and also if your little one learns how to un-do Velcro). The many snaps can be a little confusing if you've never used them before, but the Flip diapers come with picture instructions for different size babies. The inserts simply lay inside the cover (tuck under flaps at the front and back), which makes changing a diaper pretty quick! When changing, simply toss the insert into your pail, wipe the inside of the cover, and place in a new insert. You can use the same cover several times! The stay-dry inserts that come with the diapers worked great for Sydney! She didn't even leak over her naps (which has been a problem even with disposables occasionally). You can also buy disposable inserts when traveling to make cloth diapering on-the-go easy. We also tried a regular p

How to go shopping with toddler in tow

10 March 2010 CHILDWISE By RUTH LIEW I HAVE a very active two-and-a-half year old son. It is very challenging to go shopping with him. He is quite a handful in the stores, and is very loud and demanding. We used to take him out in a stroller. These days, he would resist getting into the stroller. He wants to walk around like us. I don’t want him to run around and start breaking things in the shops. Any tips on how to shop with a toddler without him breaking into tantrums or drawing angry stares from shopkeepers? – Mother Of A Toddler

Save energy to save money article. Have you done your part?

Sentuhan Bayu: I have posted this articles sometime ago. Let's read it again. Save energy to save money. - Set your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer to save on heating and cooling costs. - Install compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) when your older incandescent bulbs burn out. - Unplug appliances when you're not using them. Or, use a "smart" power strip that senses when appliances are off and cuts "phantom" or "vampire" energy use. - Wash clothes in cold water whenever possible. As much as 85 percent of the energy used to machine-wash clothes goes to heating the water. - Use a drying rack or clothesline to save the energy otherwise used during machine drying .   "Set your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer to save on heating and cooling costs." - Sentuhan Bayu: Yes, Malaysia tend to be really hot sometime. So most malaysian so

Knickernappies Reviews

Mama2Cdboy : Posted: 2/17/2009 We really wanted to love this diaper. We loved our medium fuzzibunz but our baby grew out of the largest leg snap at 24lbs. So we were looking for a size large pocket diaper for our chubby thighed baby. The fit on the KND (we have the G1s) is fabulous - the extra snaps were excellent for our chunky-legged babe - no red marks, and no tummy tightness either. Unfortunately, they have always leaked from the inner thigh area - right from the start. We even use loopy-dos, which were made for this diaper. We have never had leaking problems with FBs or GADs. I think the problem is that the crotch is so narrow on the G1s that the insert bumps right up against the seam on both sides, so when it is moist it just wicks right out.

Sentuhan Bayu Review on Gro Baby Diaper

I have been using the Gro Baby diaper for about a month now. Got it at Tiny Tapir in Bangsar Village. I must admit the price is a bomb but I just fall in love with it after the 1st touch. What I like about Gro Baby : - the tuck system. Just tuck the insert to use & replace the insert for next use. - the velcro closure. Well, it is not the usual velcro you see on other diapers. - the PUL are so soft. I mean really soft - Very trim& snug nicely to my 18 months girl What i don't like: - for such super heavy wetter like my little girl, it can only stand 2 hours max & that is with 2 gro baby booster. Everything soaked ;-) So i guess its not suitable for her. - though the shell supposed to be use twice, i can't do that since the shell also wet. Overall, its a good diaper. I'd give 4.5 / 5 Star.
