Laundering Care Tips from Monkey Doodlez

We like to suggest a cold water rinse followed by a wash cycle on Hot (not Sanitize!) and a final rinse in cold water. We suggest using Wonder Wash as your detergent as it rinses clean and prevents residue build up. If you are usng a different brand of detergent, be sure to use a reduced amount (appx 1/3) of the recommended amount to limit reside which can hamper your diaper`s absorbency and may cause skin irritation. Most leaks are caused by residue buildup on diapers.

With all detergents and laundering products reactions and allergies are possible. If rash or reaction occurs, discontinue use.

As with all fabrics, the more gentle you are with your laundering, the more longevity the fibers will have. Our Fleece and PUL manufacturers suggest drying on low heat or tumble dry as this is the most gentle on the fabrics.

With our AIO`s the core is made of 100% cotton. Since this helps to regulate the temperature applied to the inner and outer layers of the diaper, these can typically be dried at a higher setting with minimal impact. However, always be sure to only damp dry your fabrics as an extended period at high heat with very dry fabrics will cause damage and signficantly limit their life span.

Never use fabric softener or bleach on your diapers!

Monkey Doodlez® products without an inner cotton core such as wet bags, pail liners, and pocket diapers, should only be dried on low heat or hung dry.

Cotton Terry Inserts for pocket diapers and wipes should be laundered separately from diapers for their first wash as terry will give off lint for the first few washings. While it will not damage your diapers, the lint may cling to your diapers which is referred to as secondary pilling and will eventually wear away.
